Since 1960 the Revello family has been running a restaurant business, with commitment and intuition. Grandpa Giacomo Revello created the original “Camogliesi al Rum”, tipycal local pastries, made with Rum liquor.
Umberto Revello , Giacomo’s nephew, is a young entrepreneur, passionate about spirtis and wine, since always.
In 2020, Umberto created the “CamuGin”, a gin inspired by the soul and perfumes of his villages, adding sea salt and Ligurian herbs: thyme, majoram and rosemary

"I think it’s one of the most interesting gin nowadays on the Italian handcrafted market. The thing that fascinates me the most is the use of only four botanicals. The marjoram stands out above all, giving Camügin a strong identity. The pinch of salt helps to brings out the herbs taste. On the nose it may seem slightly dry, but on the palate, it is wrapping and with a long delicate finish taste. Camügin is versatile, well distilled and very balanced. I recommend it for drinking neat."
